The popular fast-food chain KFC officially announced the launch of a new menu in Belarusian style on March 3 in its social networks, doing so in Belarusian language for complete immersion in the national atmosphere, noted "Telegraf".
The chain's new menu features dishes that, according to the company, should create "the vibe of a cozy family dinner" with favorite flavors, "appealing drive, and a touch of daring."
No Belarusian menu can do without draniki (potato pancakes). KFC has also added them to its menu: they ask 9.9 rubles for 3 crispy pancakes with a delicate sour cream and mushroom sauce.
Another Belarusian alternative to draniki is "Bulba-Box", in which fragrant potatoes with the same sour cream and mushroom sauce are served immediately with 6 spicy bytes (pieces of chicken meat). The price of such a set is 12.9 rubles.
The Belarusian menu also includes familiar burgers in various national variations for 13.5 rubles, and chicken "classic" with double chicken instead of a usual burger bun, and a Belarusian version of the signature BoxMasters (though, with the same wheat tortilla). It seems the only difference in the assortment of the Belarusian menu is the presence of that very sour cream and mushroom sauce. And also — in the packaging, stylized with traditional national Belarusian ornament, with wishes for a pleasant appetite in Belarusian.
And to wash down all this culinary variety, KFC offered fans of all things Belarusian a special cranberry drink. However, it will appear on the menu a little later — from March 9.
