Young Minsk resident's mother and bank tellers tried to stop her, but she still gave money to fraudsters
The mother of a 23-year-old girl contacted the police. She reported that her daughter had taken a large sum of money from the apartment and left home, denying that she was under the influence of phone fraudsters.
The girl herself told the police that she was scared and thought she was fulfilling the demands of employees of the State Control Committee, and if she refused, a criminal case would be initiated against her, reports "Minsk Police".
First, the Minsk resident took her mother's savings from home and withdrew money from her own card, put them in a package, and left them in a hiding place outside the city. After that, she three times took cash from strangers and also took it outside the city.
In addition, the girl took out a loan in her name and deliberately lied to the teller that she was doing it of her own free will. She also handed over the obtained cash to the fraudsters.
In total, her family lost about 20 thousand rubles, the total amount of damage is being established. Checks are being carried out on all facts.
