Robbed Belarusian disappeared in Moscow. He called his mother, but she thought it was a scammer and hung up
In the capital of Russia, 32-year-old Denis Shvedov is being sought after he disappeared when his backpack with documents, phone, bank cards, and money was stolen on public transport.

The man was left without communication and funds. The last time his relatives were able to reconstruct his route was until August 27. Denis's sister told mk.ru about the situation.
According to Denis's sister, Ekaterina, shortly before his disappearance, he was returning from work and fell asleep on public transport. At that moment, his backpack containing documents, a mobile phone, bank cards, and money was stolen.
For the past few weeks, the man had been living in hostels and working as a courier. He did not know his sister's address. She had recently moved, and due to their busy schedules, they hadn't had time to meet.
— The only number he knew by heart was our mother's number in Belarus, — Ekaterina recounts. — He asked a passerby for a phone, called her, and asked for money for a ticket. Mom decided they were scammers and blocked the number.
For several days, the girl tried to contact her brother but was unsuccessful. Then she asked relatives if they had spoken with Denis. It was only after this that the story of the strange call came to light.
The sister got the number of the man whose phone Denis had used to call their mother. He told her where and under what circumstances he had last seen the missing man. Since then, according to the relative, there has been no precise information about Denis's whereabouts.
It is also known that after the theft, the man contacted the police and filed a report about the loss of documents.
— The thief was found, but there was nothing on him. My brother was simply released onto the street. Where he is now, I don't know, — adds the missing man's sister.
The girl filed a missing person report with the police and contacted the search and rescue squad "LizaAlert".
— The police said they would search. "LizaAlert" accepted the application for work. We are writing everywhere, publishing information, trying to find anyone who might have seen him, — Ekaterina said.
Denis Shvedov has been living in Moscow for about eight years. According to his sister, he had never disappeared before and always stayed in touch. All acquaintances and friends whom the relative managed to contact last saw Denis between August 24 and 27.
Denis was born on December 25, 1993. The last place he was seen was Shcherbinka, in the area of Sportivnaya Street.
The family asks anyone who may have seen the man after August 27 or has any information about his whereabouts to come forward.
