In Iŭje District, one person died and three were injured in a head-on collision
A fatal road traffic accident occurred in Iŭje District on August 28, reports the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Hrodna Regional Executive Committee.
Around 1:00 PM near the village of Siamionki, a 45-year-old driver of a Voyah car drove into the oncoming lane on a curve in the road and collided with a Nissan, driven by a 36-year-old man.
As a result of the accident, a 38-year-old female passenger of the Nissan died at the scene. Three more people were injured: two children aged 7 and 10, who were traveling in the Nissan, as well as a passenger from the Voyah. All of them were taken to the hospital.
As it turned out, there was only one child seat in the Nissan, where two children were present.
