Pensioner left 6400 euros and 7300 dollars in a mailbox after a call from scammers

In the Maladzyechna district, a 59-year-old woman became a victim of scammers, who convinced her to declare more than 41 thousand rubles, writes Kraj.by.

An unknown person contacted the woman on Viber, introducing themselves as employees of the pension fund, law enforcement agencies, and a bank.

Having convinced her of the necessity of declaring, he took possession of 6400 euros and 7300 US dollars, which amounts to 41,808 rubles.

The woman left the money in the mailbox.
