In 2022, the Mahilioŭ band Akute released their sixth and currently last album "Napalovu tut" (Halfway Here). Since then – complete silence. What happened to the band – fans are asking.

"The band is on hiatus," informed sources told "Nash Niwa".
Meanwhile, vocalist and guitarist Staś Mytnik has gathered a new project – its concept and name are currently kept secret. But it is already known that, unlike Akute, it is Russian-language.
At least, a snippet of the first leaked track online is in Russian. The initial impression is that you continue to listen to the good old disco-decadence from Akute, but now with Russian lyrics and new faces in the background.
How long the hiatus in Akute's activities will last is unclear – especially since the main drivers of the processes now live in different countries, which complicates creative cooperation. Staś remains in Belarus, while Raman Zhyharaŭ is in Poland. Former drummer Vicky Fates also moved there, whose parts can now be heard in the band Biaz Nazvy. But it's comforting that there is no talk of Akute's end yet.
