A new training center will open in Vawkavysk at the Union of Poles
In Vawkavysk, on September 15, a new training center will begin operation under the unregistered Union of Poles in Belarus. This was reported on social media X by former political prisoner Andrzej Poczobut.

Poczobut wrote that on the eve of the opening, Jerzy Czupreta, head of the Vawkavysk branch of the Union of Poles, personally showed him the premises where children will be able to learn the Polish language.
Poczobut called Vawkavysk a strategically important place for the Polish minority. He reminded that in 2022, a Polish school here was Russified.
Former political prisoner Andrzej Poczobut, released in April and expelled to Poland, returned to Belarus on September 8 to meet with his family and associates from the Union of Poles in Belarus. According to him, he plans to stay in Belarus for a week.
He had four teeth knocked out, and then was expelled from the country. Now the former political prisoner has been arrested in Latvia with six migrants in his car
