A branch of the National Art Museum opened in Minsk at 47 Nezalezhnastsi Avenue. An exposition from the museum's collection titled "Selected: Painting, Graphics, Sculpture" is currently on display there. Until September 20 inclusive, the new space can be visited for free.

As reported by Iryna Matsyas, Director General of the National Art Museum, the branch will not only host exhibitions but also lectures.
The branch opened on City Day as part of the museum's annual "September Night" event. On the first day, architect Halina Levina gave a lecture about her father, the famous Minsk architect Leanid Levin. In the 1990s, his workshops were located on the site of the new branch.
An opening concert also took place, featuring a cello and piano duo.
Previously, this building housed the National Centre for Contemporary Arts, which was later liquidated by a resolution of the Belarusian government.
