First resignation at the World Cup

The Tunisian national team will dismiss head coach Sabri Lamouchi following their 1:5 defeat to Sweden in the first round match of the 2026 World Cup, writes sports.ru.

The French specialist had been in charge of the national team since January 2026.

At the tournament, Tunisia still has two group stage matches to play – against Japan (June 21) and the Netherlands (June 26).
