Minsk's Central Botanical Garden is preparing to host an atmospheric summer open-air event — the "Kupal'skie Agni" (Kupala Fires) festival, scheduled for July 4-5.

Guests can expect a spectacular fire procession, a master class on weaving wreaths and launching them onto the water, live music, historical reconstructions, and much more, writes Tochka.by.
Celebrating Kupalle in the center of Minsk at the Botanical Garden is becoming a good tradition. The festival is not held for the first time, and in 2025 it particularly impressed spectators with a massive fire procession with torches to the lake, where thousands of wreaths were launched onto the water in the evening.
In the summer of 2026, Kupala rites and traditions will also be the main part of the program, culminating in an evening fire show by one of the capital's main fire theaters.
As the organizers note, "Kupal'skie Agni" is not just about entertainment and recreation. The festival introduces guests to history, revives rites and crafts, and creates a space for a lively dialogue between generations.

"We want every guest not just to observe, but to live the tradition: weave wreaths, understand the meanings of Kupala songs and symbols, participate in master classes and ritual actions," say the organizers.
The fire procession is particularly noted, uniting people around a common bonfire, respect for nature, and shared values.
Also a Knightly Tournament
During the festival, a full knightly camp with the reconstruction of historical tournaments will unfold in the Botanical Garden.
The program includes folklore performances, a craft fair, family games, wreath weaving, and a search for the fern flower deep within the garden, spiritual practices, meditation and relaxation zones.

The festival can be visited by the whole family. For the youngest guests, a large children's zone with games and modern animation is provided. During and after active recreation, you can grab a bite at the food court with diverse cuisine.
Tickets for the festival can be purchased on-site at the Botanical Garden ticket offices, and they are already available online from ticket operators.
