Political scientist Alina Kharysavava agreed to cooperate with the SBU. It turned out to be the KGB
“I did not leak a single word or a single fact,” Kharysavava assures after an exposé was dedicated to her on Belarusian television.

During his program "Without Cover," propagandist Roman Protasevich showed a video in which political scientist, expert of Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya's Office and member of the Coordination Council Alina Kharysavava gives consent to cooperate with the Security Service of Ukraine, and then demonstrated excerpts from her messages forwarded to "curators."
Kharysavava immediately posted her version of what happened on Facebook:
“I was contacted 'from the SBU' about a year ago. At that time, I was under immense pressure from the KGB; my relatives were detained, and I was threatened and constantly called. In parallel, I had suicidal thoughts, I was diagnosed with moderate depression, and put on pills.
Around the same time, I was hit by a car with a drunk driver… Well, you understand what state I was in.
I was in a very vulnerable position when the 'SBU representative' for several days persuaded me to make contact with them, convincing me that this was being done so that Ukraine and Belarusian democratic forces could establish contact.
Through these persuasions, I made contact. The person behaved strangely. I asked for verification: I said that if he was from the SBU, verification could be done in Ukraine. To this, he agreed, and I said that until we met in Ukraine and I saw the badge in person, I could not talk to him about sensitive topics.
Later, he started asking questions about the office, about Siarhei, about relocation. I never wrote anything beyond what is public / what I voiced on Euroradio broadcasts. When I saw that questions were coming in about matters that had nothing to do with Ukraine, I said that it had nothing to do with Ukraine.
In most instances, I played dumb and ignored messages for several days because I realized the situation was very strange. I deleted the dialogue for both sides, blocked the contact, but he wrote from new numbers, called many times a day (I never picked up), after which I banned calls from non-contacts, but he wrote to me and threatened me with violence.
At this point, it finally became clear to me who I was dealing with, so the communication ended with unread threats.
I admit that I made a mistake by recording a 'story circle' (short video message) about my readiness to cooperate with the SBU while in that state. But I did not leak a single word or a single fact.
Propaganda is very good at making stories out of 'shit and sticks' (i.e., nothing). It's enough to invent a beautiful narrative and present it intriguingly.
If anyone has questions for me or considers it necessary to invite me for a polygraph test — I am open to it.
Upd: I am suspending my cooperation with all organizations and personally initiating an investigation into myself. I see this as the only way to prove to you that what I am saying is the absolute truth.”
