In Warsaw, a couple from Belarus was attacked after asking to leash their dogs
The husband was beaten, and then gas was sprayed on his wife, their dog, and a random witness.

On the evening of August 15, in Warsaw, a Belarusian man Siarhei and his wife were attacked while walking their dog not far from their home. According to the man, the conflict began after he asked another couple to leash their two small dogs. As a result, Siarhei was beaten, and then gas was sprayed on him, his wife, their dog, and a random witness. The Belarusians contacted the police. Siarhei told Most what happened.
Siarhei has been living in Poland since the end of 2018; he has a resident card. The incident occurred around 10:00 PM. The man went out to walk his dog with his wife and also planned to pick up a parcel from a parcel locker.
The Belarusian does not hide that he had some beer with his wife that evening, but claims that he was not drunk and did not behave aggressively.
According to Siarhei, a young couple with two small unleashed dogs came out of one of the entrances. Since the Belarusians have a large dog, albeit on a leash, they asked the strangers to leash their animals.
— We asked them to leash the dogs so that ours wouldn't bite the small ones. I said they might fight. We asked two or three times, but it yielded no result. Then the man started telling us: «Wyp…laj na Ukrainę» («Get lost to Ukraine»). We immediately interrupted him, saying we were from Belarus. Then several times it was just «Wyp…laj do domu» («Get lost home»), — Siarhei recounts.
After that, according to the Belarusian, the man began approaching him with the words "What? What?". Siarhei started filming what was happening on his phone.
— His girlfriend seemed to start pulling him away. They moved back a bit, but then the man returned again, and shoves began. Not only I fell, but my wife too, — says the Belarusian.
Siarhei claims that a few seconds later, another man joined the conflict, standing and supporting the attacker. Then a third person ran up and sprayed gas.
— Not only we were affected, but also our dog, and a random girl who happened to be a witness to what was happening. She, by the way, is Belarusian. She was also sprayed with gas, — Siarhei recounts.
After the attackers fled, the man called the police. According to him, city guards arrived in about seven minutes, and the police about ten minutes later.
— They helped us and asked if we would file a report. We said we wouldn't let it go. The next day, we were invited to the police station, and we recounted what happened. There are many cameras there, so I think everything will be clearly visible, — says Siarhei.
The man himself did not separately document the injuries. According to him, the police took photographs.
— This is the first time something like this has happened to me. I've been living in Poland since the end of 2018, and this is happening here. It seems to me that in the last six months, cases of attacks on foreigners have increased, — he says.
