A 39-year-old man gathered mushrooms in the forest, ate them during the day, and by evening felt a sharp deterioration in his well-being: abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and general weakness began.

The ambulance took him to the central district hospital, and later he was transferred to Mogilev Clinical Hospital. However, the patient could not be saved — he died on the seventh day after consuming the mushrooms.
An examination by the State Forensic Examination Committee for Mogilev Region concluded that the man's death resulted from acute poisoning, complicated by the development of multiple organ failure syndrome.
