Snakes scare clients on the stairs of a beauty salon in Maladzyechna
In Maladzyechna, visitors and employees of one of the beauty salons encountered unexpected "guests" — several grass snakes have taken a liking to the staircase leading to the premises, writes the publication Blizko.by.
According to local resident Katsiaryna, who reported the situation on social media, the snakes behave calmly and show no aggression, but their presence greatly frightens women visiting the salon.
The girl contacted the Ministry of Emergency Situations, but, according to her, they replied that they do not deal with catching non-venomous snakes or searching for their nests.
"You come to the salon, and under your feet is a grass snake," Katsiaryna described the situation, asking if there are specialists who can help in such cases.
Grass snakes are quite common in urban environments, especially near parks, rivers, and other bodies of water. They pose no danger to humans: grass snakes are non-venomous, usually do not attack first, and try to hide or flee when encountering people.
If snakes regularly appear near a residential building or public facility and cause panic among people, you can contact the local housing and communal services.
