The "Janushkevich" publishing house is opening a fundraiser for the publication of four world bestsellers: J.K. Rowling's "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" and "The Christmas Pig," J.R.R. Tolkien's "The Hobbit," Andrzej Sapkowski's "The Witcher. The Tower of the Swallow," writes bellit.info.

The publishing house has reached an agreement with copyright holders and signed contracts, and now needs to pay the licenses within three weeks. However, the publishing house currently lacks the working capital for such ambitious projects.
"Therefore, we appeal to you, dear readers, for popular support. We need approximately 15 thousand euros for all expenses related to acquiring the rights to these four excellent works. We intend to cover further printing costs through pre-orders. The cost of licenses is affected by the volume of the works, the size of the planned print run, and, of course, their high status as world bestsellers. A successful fundraiser will create a 'safety cushion' for us, allowing us to confidently move forward without unnecessary risks. If we collect more than the stated amount, the money will go towards new projects that also need funding," this message appeared on the publishing house's social media.
Residents of Poland can join the fundraiser via the Zrzutka.pl platform (in Polish zlotys). Fundraiser in other currencies for residents of other countries: 4fund.com. You can also donate via the Patreon.com platform.
Both J.K. Rowling's books will be translated by Alena Piatrovich, Tolkien's "The Hobbit" by Ihar Kulikou. These editions are expected to be released in 2026. And "The Witcher," translated by Katsiaryna Matsiyeuskaya, in 2027.
