Valfovich called the drone explosion near the bus accidental, but it was too late. Propaganda had already found the culprits and covered the whole world in dirt

Lukashenka's propaganda, following Russia's, spread reports of an alleged "deliberate strike by the AFU on a bus" even before any competent assessments appeared.

"AFU militants attacked a bus at the 'Krasny Kamen' customs checkpoint in the Bryansk region. This was reported by an 'Izvestia' source," — such information was provided by hundreds of official channels of the Belarusian authorities.

"Their actions are aimed exclusively at destabilizing Belarusians, sowing enmity and chaos. (...) But we see these games and will not allow ourselves to be dragged into this swamp, nor will we forgive!"

The same theses were simultaneously voiced by propagandist Ryhor Azaronak.

"They are trying to provoke panic, hysteria, and a feeling of insecurity among the Belarusian people. (...) The Kyiv regime has been allowed any crimes, any provocations. The maximum task is to drag Belarus into the war. The minimum task is to sow chaos, fear, and anxiety here," one of the regime's main propagandists stated.

Azaronak published his comment on a Telegram channel with the caption: "Another bloody provocation by Bandera supporters against Belarus."

The NEWS.BY Telegram channel also reported the incident as a "drone attack," repeating the statements of the Russian Investigative Committee and Russia's Ambassador to Belarus, Boris Gryzlov.

The mouthpiece of "SB. Belarus Today," Liudmila Hladkaya, also reported on the "AFU drone" attack.

Aleh Haidukevich also added his two cents, publishing a video comment with the caption: "Bryansk region! Another act of terrorism."

And only a few hours after this frenzied info-terrorism did an official statement from the State Secretary of the Security Council of Belarus, Alexander Volfovich, appear.

"The Belarusian bus was not specifically chosen as, so to speak, a target for attack. It was a bus that happened to be moving through the territory of the Bryansk region, and a drone that accidentally fell onto the road between two highways," Valfovich told journalists.

None of the pro-government Telegram channels, which had previously spread false information about an alleged deliberate attack on the Belarusian bus, issued either a refutation or an apology.
