How the ancient church, for the salvation of which the state is collecting donations, looks now PHOTOS

Fresh photos and videos of the famous abandoned church — St. Nicholas in the village of Knyazhytsy, Mogilev district — were noticed by the Katolik.life publication on social networks. The photos, taken by tourists, clearly show the current condition of the temple, which is in need of urgent emergency stabilization works.

How the ancient church, for the salvation of which the state is collecting donations, looks now

This temple is included in the list of architectural monuments protected by the state, so it is supposedly obliged to take care of it. But for many years, no money has been found in the budget even for the preservation of the building.

Therefore, at the end of 2025, the Mogilev Regional Executive Committee announced a collection of donations for emergency stabilization measures and conservation works.

Since then, no information has been provided on how much money has been collected or when the works will begin, and the monument, meanwhile, continues to deteriorate.
