It all begins on Monday with the announcement of the laureate in medicine and physiology (12:30 Minsk time).

On Tuesday, the laureate in physics will be named, and on Wednesday, in chemistry.
On Thursday, the laureate in literature will be announced (14:00). A year ago, the Hungarian writer László Krasznahorkai received it.
And on Friday, October 9 (12:00), the Nobel Peace Prize laureate will be named. A year ago, the prize was awarded to Venezuelan opposition leader María Corina Machado.
And you saw how all of that ended for Venezuela. With the kidnapping on January 3 of the country's president Nicolás Maduro, who is now held in a pre-trial detention center in Brooklyn.
A week later, on Monday, October 12, the Nobel laureate in economics will be named.
The award ceremony and honorary events take place in December in Stockholm, while the Nobel Peace Prize is awarded in Oslo.
