A total of 14 Kazakh servicemen died during the tragic incident on the Caspian Sea
Today, the bodies of two more servicemen, who were swept into the Caspian Sea during exercises yesterday, were found.

Thus, the number of dead stands at 14 people, reports Tengrinews.kz with reference to the Ministry of Defense.
Initially, it was reported that 19 servicemen were swept into the sea during exercises yesterday. Later, the information was clarified to 17 people. Three were rescued. One of the rescued is in the hospital.
Today, the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan announced the completion of the search operation in the waters of the Caspian Sea.
Yesterday, September 24, during naval exercises in the Mangystau region, servicemen were swept into the Caspian Sea. They were performing training and combat tasks on the seashore when the weather sharply deteriorated and the wind intensified.
