A 67-year-old woman decided to renovate her bathroom. Workers, to replace the tiles, temporarily dismantled the cast-iron bathtub and placed it on the stairwell landing.

The unattended bathtub, left in the stairwell, was noticed by the pensioner's 43-year-old neighbor, who decided to profit from it.
He invited a friend, and together they carried out the 100-kilogram item, worth more than 1000 rubles, to a scrap metal collection point, reports Hrodna police.
In the evening, the victim noticed the bathtub's disappearance and sought help from the police. Officers of the Kastrychnitski District Department of Internal Affairs of Hrodna identified the perpetrator and the location where the bathtub was handed in. It will be returned to its owner.
A criminal case has been initiated.
