Bundeswehr tested ballistic missile for the first time

On the night of September 2, the German Bundeswehr successfully tested the Lora ballistic missile from the Israeli company Israel Aerospace Industries. The launch took place in the northern part of the Atlantic Ocean. This missile is capable of hitting targets at a distance of up to 430 kilometers, reports Deutsche Welle.

If Germany decides to purchase Lora, it will become the first ballistic missile in the Bundeswehr's arsenal. The country's Navy called the test an important step to strengthen the defense of Germany and its allies.

The tests took place amid growing concern in Germany about possible threats from Russia. Berlin also announced plans to strengthen its armed forces with long-range systems.

Currently, the Bundeswehr has about 600 Taurus cruise missiles with a range of over 500 kilometers. Unlike them, ballistic missiles fly on a different trajectory and develop much greater speed.

Нават у Беларусi, Арменii i шмат iншых краiнах яны ёсць.
