In Poland, two Belarusians and a Ukrainian organized a drug laboratory

In Poland, police liquidated a mephedrone production laboratory and confiscated over 28 kg of the finished drug.

The operation was carried out by officers of the Central Police Investigative Bureau and the Warsaw Police with the support of colleagues from the Subcarpathian Voivodeship. In one of the houses in Dębica County, they found a professionally equipped laboratory where synthetic drugs, including mephedrone, were produced.

Three men were detained in the case: two Belarusian citizens aged 37 and 31, and a 24-year-old Ukrainian citizen.

During the search, police found drug production equipment and over 28 kg of mephedrone in crystal form, prepared for further distribution. Substances at various stages of the production process were also confiscated. They were submitted for expert analysis.

The liquidation of the laboratory made it possible to stop production and prevent a large batch of drugs from entering the market.

The detainees were taken to the prosecutor's office in Dębica, where they were charged with producing a significant quantity of drugs. The court, at the request of the prosecutor's office, arrested all three suspects for the duration of the investigation.

The Subcarpathian Voivodeship Police Department is handling further investigation. Possible connections of the detainees with an organized crime group that may be behind the production and distribution of drugs are also being checked.
