The Kremlin stated that gasoline supplies from Belarusian refineries to Russia are going "at maximum"
Russia is grateful to Belarus for gasoline supplies from Belarusian refineries. This was stated to journalists by Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov.
"Fuel supplies are ongoing. They are already going at maximum," Peskov said, answering a question about whether Vladimir Putin discussed the supply issue with Lukashenka.
"Our Belarusian friends are very sensitively responding to needs, for which we are grateful to them," he noted.
The fuel issue was discussed at the meeting between Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin and Alexander Lukashenka on August 28. Lukashenka promised to fulfill Belarus's obligations: "from trifles with fuel - diesel, various types of gasoline, etc. ... to serious systemic issues."
