One of the brightest events of the two-day program celebrating City Day in Grodno is expected to be the Lantern Festival. It will take place on the evening of September 4 in the Swiss Valley on both sides of the bridge on Ozheshko Street.

Residents and guests of Grodno will be able to launch lit lanterns in the form of lotuses and cubes onto the water, make wishes, and watch as hundreds of warm lights illuminate the water's surface.
A special part of the decoration will be a large luminous Moon, installed directly on the water. This art object is expected to become one of the main photo zones of the holiday.
Starting from 20:00, the festive atmosphere will be complemented by a musical program featuring students from the city's children's music schools.
The festival will be part of a large program dedicated to City Day. On September 4 and 5, concerts, festivals, and other festive events are also planned in Grodno. Among the main events are a performance by Russian singer MOT on Lenin Square, a Cheese Festival, a large concert program, and a festive fireworks display at 22:00.
