Car fatally hits pedestrian in Luninets district

A fatal road accident occurred late in the evening of August 28 in the agro-town of Kazhan-Haradok, Luninets district, according to the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Brest Regional Executive Committee.

Around 22:20, a 29-year-old Audi driver was traveling along Pyatra Yankevich Street from Lakhva village towards Himbatava Street. Near house No. 41, the car struck a 33-year-old local resident who was on the roadway.

The pedestrian did not have a reflective element. He died at the scene from the injuries sustained.
