The administration of US President Donald Trump has suspended the processing of immigration visa applications worldwide, reports Financial Times.
The US State Department explained the pause by the need for "in-depth training" of consular staff. They are to be trained to identify applicants who, in the opinion of the American authorities, may become dependent on government benefits.
