Peskov Named the Purpose of the CIA Director's Visit to Moscow

When asked about the purpose of the CIA director's visit, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told the publication that it was "establishing contacts between security services," writes WP.

He refused to provide additional details.

Earlier on Tuesday, Peskov stated that the Kremlin had no information about US military planes that arrived at Moscow's Vnukovo airport. He said that the Russian side did not plan to meet with US administration representatives this week.

The American C-17A Globemaster III aircraft, which arrived in Moscow, is the primary heavy transport aircraft of the US Department of Defense. This type of aircraft is particularly valuable for important diplomatic visits, as it allows leaders to bring specialized equipment, electronic gear, and support staff with them.
