Ministry of Defense accredited Germany's military attaché

A meeting with representatives of the German Embassy took place in the Department of International Military Cooperation.

The event took place on the occasion of the accreditation of the new defense attaché, Lieutenant Colonel Michael Gersteneker, to the Belarusian military department, as well as in connection with the completion of the diplomatic mission of Lieutenant Colonel Stefan Janke, the Ministry of Defense reported.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on topical issues of international and regional security, discussed the state and prospects of cooperation in the military sphere, the report states.
