A new low-cost airline with tickets from 40 euros has appeared in Europe

The new budget airline Fly2Galicia is preparing to start flights from Santiago de Compostela, Spain, to eight cities in Spain and other European countries.

The first flights are scheduled for December 1, 2026, and tickets are already on sale. The cheapest flight currently on sale costs 41 euros.

As Euronews writes, the new airline's base airport will be Santiago-Rosalía de Castro. From there, Fly2Galicia plans to fly to three Spanish cities — Alicante, Granada, and Zaragoza — and to five European cities: Brussels, Prague, Munich, Venice, and Milan.

According to the published schedule, the first flights should begin on December 1. The date was chosen ahead of the period when many tourists and pilgrims traditionally arrive in Santiago de Compostela, walking the famous Camino de Santiago route.

Ticket sales are already open. The cheapest offers for international flights currently look like this:

from Milan to Santiago de Compostela — from 41 euros;

from Brussels — from 51 euros;

from Prague — from 51 euros;

from Venice — from 51 euros;

from Munich — from 71 euros.

It should be noted that these are minimal fares, and ticket prices may vary depending on the date and demand.
