Apartment of twice Hero of the Soviet Union Leonid Biada for sale in Minsk. How much are they asking?

A 100-square-meter historical residence has been put up for sale in the capital.

Minsk has enough houses with memorial plaques reminding city residents that heroes, cultural figures, and other important persons once lived within their walls. Buying real estate in such a building is a great stroke of luck. An apartment belonging to Leonid Biada — an assault pilot, lieutenant general of aviation, and twice Hero of the Soviet Union — appeared in the Realt database.

There is even a street in Minsk named after him, but his apartment is located in the famous house at Kupaly, 7.

The nine-story building opposite Gorky Park at Yanka Kupala, 7, appeared in 1969. In Soviet years, the house was considered elite. Famous writers, statesmen, and military personnel, including Heroes of the Soviet Union and veterans, received apartments here.

Today, memorial plaques to Anatol Andreev, Aliaksandr Klimau, Viktar Vujačyč, Ivan Mielež, and Leanid Biada remind us of this. The latter's apartment is currently for sale. According to the advertiser, the pilot lived on the fifth floor in a three-room apartment with an area of 101.3 m².

The residence is premium: originally, for four rooms, there were two glazed loggias, a balcony, and two bathrooms.

During the redesign, the number of rooms became three, and a dining area by the window was equipped at the end of the hallway.

The apartment is fully ready for occupancy. The kitchen is equipped with a suite and built-in appliances from Italian brands.

Bedrooms are also furnished with necessary furniture.

By the way, half of the apartment's windows overlook the park. Nearby there are two metro stations, a public garden, and a well-maintained Svislach embankment.

The apartment is listed for 999,000 Belarusian Rubles (approximately 334,000 US dollars equivalent).

Коммунист Беда даже не белорус. Для Беларуси он оккупант. Нашли ценность.
