According to Mash, the killer waited for Andrey Cherezov at night in the entrance of his building on Mikheev Street, firing three shots on the fourth-floor landing. His wife heard the noise, opened the door, and seeing her injured husband, called an ambulance. The man was hospitalized, and the assailant was put on a wanted list.
The shooter fled.
