The mushroom season continues in Belarus, and sometimes the forest brings real surprises. This is what happened to a group of Belarusian mushroom pickers who unexpectedly found a huge clearing completely covered in chanterelles, writes Times.by.
Hundreds, and possibly thousands, of small yellow caps literally carpeted the ground, creating the impression that these were not mushrooms, but fallen leaves.
The author of the video poetically compared what he saw to "a comet's tail." Other users called such a discovery a true illustration of the expression "you could mow them with a scythe."
The video of the unusual clearing quickly spread on TikTok and gained almost three million views in a few days. Users actively tried to find out where this place was, but the author of the video never revealed the location.
Among the commentators were those who shared their own mushroom-picking successes. Photos and videos from other locations showed full bags, buckets, and even boxes of chanterelles.
Now the happy mushroom pickers face another question — what to do with such a quantity of mushrooms: dry them, freeze them, salt them, or cook fresh dishes.
