Wildberries began searching for warehouse premises in Kazakhstan due to Ukrainian drone attacks

The largest Russian marketplace Wildberries has begun searching for warehouse premises in Kazakhstan after a series of Ukrainian strikes on logistics centers in Russia, four sources in the real estate market told Kommersant newspaper .

According to one of the interlocutors, the company is looking for premises with a total area of about 100 thousand square meters. Another source noted that Wildberries is ready to rent all available warehouse space in Kazakhstan. Thus, the marketplace expects to protect part of its logistics capacities from Ukrainian drone attacks, Kommersant's interlocutors explained.

However, finding suitable facilities in Kazakhstan might not be easy. According to NF Group data, by the end of 2025, there were 1.9 million square meters of high-quality logistics space in the country, but only 5.8% remained vacant.

Stanislav Akhmedzyanov, Managing Partner at IBC Global, noted that there is no single warehouse complex of 100 thousand square meters on the Kazakhstani market. By the end of June 2026, only 130 thousand square meters, located in various cities of the country, were considered vacant.
