Three cleanest beaches of Minsk

Minsk Sanitary and Epidemiological Service has named the three cleanest capital beaches. These are beach No. 8 of Zaslavskoye Reservoir (Minsk Sea), and beaches No. 6 and No. 7 of Drozdy Reservoir.

Since the beginning of this swimming season, no violations of sanitary norms have been recorded there.

Currently, 23 beaches in five recreation areas in Minsk are under the constant control of the sanitary service: eight on Zaslavskoye Reservoir, six on Drozdy, six on Tsnyanskoye Reservoir, two on Krinitsa, and one on Komsomolskoye Lake, writes BelTA.

They assess water quality, including taking samples for E. coli content.

As of the end of July, swimming for children is restricted only on beach No. 2 of Tsnyanskoye Reservoir. Adults are allowed to swim there.
