The Lahojsk ski sports and wellness complex, which suspended its operations in April, has found a new owner.
The auction took place on July 23 on the third attempt — the first two did not happen due to a lack of bids.
Initially, the complex was offered for 23.2 million rubles, but for the third auction, the starting price was reduced to 13.9 million.
As a result, the final bid reached 19.6 million rubles (approximately $6.8 million equivalent).
According to the terms of sale, the new buyer is obliged to pay the full amount within 20 days, after which the property will officially transfer ownership.
The main requirement for the new owner is the preservation of the object's intended purpose and ensuring its accessibility for visitors of all categories.
The identity of the new owner has not been disclosed.
