A Revolver Found During Restoration of Sapieha Palace in Ruzhany

The revolver was found in a reconstructed section of the building inside a heating stove. The weapon was in a state of corrosion.

According to the expert conclusion of the State Committee of Forensic Examinations, the 7.62 mm Nagant revolver, model of 1895, is a rifled firearm.

Due to significant corrosive damage to the metal, the revolver is unsuitable for firing.
