A lecture on the film "Sign of Trouble" to be held at Bykau's museum-dacha

An author's lecture by Zmitser Yurkevich and Iryna Knyazeva, dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the film "Sign of Trouble," will take place at Vasil Bykau's museum-dacha on June 21 (Sunday), reports the "Community of Belarusian Writers."

Due to its tragic nature and the intensity of its action, the novel "Sign of Trouble" is considered Vasil Bykau's most anti-war work. One of the first readers of the novel's manuscript was Mikhail Ptashuk. The director saw in the work the fate of his mother, his family.

From that moment began the countdown in the history of the creation of Mikhail Ptashuk's iconic film, which would later be recognized as perhaps the most important in the history of Belarusian cinema. And not only Belarusian, as it firmly holds one of the positions in the top 10 best films about the war.

Start at 2:00 PM
Address: Agrotown Zhdanovichy, 6th Dacha St., 62
Cost: 10 Belarusian rubles
