On May 30, the Champions League final was held. In Minsk, a broadcast was organized in several locations, including at the "Dinamo" stadium. 10,800 people gathered there to watch the match between French "Paris Saint-Germain" and English "Arsenal".
The organizers expected even more people to come, but the rain prevented it.
Spectators sat on beanbag chairs and blankets on the arena field. Many were satisfied with the atmosphere. But not those who wanted to eat and drink.
Spectators describe: for 11,000 people, there were only 7 or 8 stalls selling food.
"This is complete trash, the organization is at a zero level, we stood in line from 18:30 to 19:50, and just left without food and drinks because the line wasn't moving," people complained on social networks.
"We started queuing at 18:30, by the 80th minute we got beer," others wrote.
"I stood for 70 minutes. When there were about 10 people left to the kiosk, they were only selling water and tea."
"We eventually got fed up after 20 minutes, waited for the end of the first half and left to find a place to eat."
"50 minutes in the stands, just for beer. I don't know how long you had to stand for food. It's like this every time."
"I regretted not going to "Lidbeer Dvor" with [commentator] Navitski."
Others shared that they managed to bring thermoses with tea and cookies with them.
