The first set saw Sabalenka's complete dominance. She played very strongly and did not allow her opponent to win a single game, effectively dominating the court.
In the second set, the game became more intense. Kasatkina managed to put up more resistance and fought much more stubbornly. However, despite this, Sabalenka continued to control the match and ultimately secured the victory (7:5 in the second set).
Thus, Sabalenka advanced to the Round of 16 of the tournament, and in her next match for a spot in the quarterfinals, she will face Japan's Naomi Osaka.
