The KHL season has already ended, and hockey players have gone on a well-deserved vacation, spending their time in various ways.

For example, Vasily Demchenko, goalkeeper for Minsk "Dynamo", went fishing and caught a solid trophy.
Demchenko posted a photo on his Instagram, posing with a large fish in his hands. The photos, apparently, were taken on one of the lakes near Chelyabinsk — the hockey player's hometown. The fish weighs more than 8 kilograms.
Blogger, fishing program host, and expert Ivan Mazovka told Onliner that it was a carp, and rated Vasily's catch as very impressive. According to him, the fish was most likely caught in one of the paid fishing grounds.
In amateur fishing in regular waters, carp weighing 1-3 kg are often caught, and specimens over 5 kg are already considered a serious catch. Two years ago, a large carp weighing 10 kg was caught in Minsk Sea.
Vasily's subscribers positively evaluated the trophy:
- "I take it fishing is no worse than catching pucks?"
- "Vasya is a true fisherman!"
- "Vasya, well done, excellent catch!"
