The Ministry of Information has updated the list of printed publications prohibited for distribution. 17 more books have been added to it.

“The Wild Boys” by the famous American writer William S. Burroughs was first published in 1971
The "List of Harmful Books" has been updated to include:

- Søren Sveistrup. "The Chestnut Man";
- Silje Ulstein. "The Python's Whisper";
- Medina Mirai. "Alternat. Enemy Behind the Back";
- Tatyana Stepanova. "Chariot of Time";
- William S. Burroughs. "The Wild Boys";
- Medina Mirai. "The River of My Regrets";
- Robin Fox. "Our Little Fish";
- Isabel Sterling. "These Witches Don't Burn";
- Sarina Bowen, Elle Kennedy. "Us";
- Sarina Bowen, Elle Kennedy. "Him";
- Sarina Bowen, Elle Kennedy. "Epic".
"The decision to ban distribution in our country was made at a meeting of the Republican Commission for the Assessment of Symbols, Attributes, and Information Products. All these publications are capable of harming the national interests of our country," the Ministry thus argued the need to include these publications in the list.
It now numbers 258 items.
