Perm is burning today. Ukraine has bet on strikes whose results are visible to millions
On April 29, Ukrainian drones attacked the largest facility of the Perm Regional Oil Pipeline Department — the Perm linear production and dispatch station.
A powerful fire broke out. The sky over the million-strong city of Perm was covered in black smoke.
Recently, Ukraine has been focusing on striking reservoirs rather than key elements of oil refineries. The strategic impact of striking tanks is not that significant: they burned down and were rebuilt. However, giant fires affect the mood of the Russian population. It is impossible for the authorities to hide the missed strikes, which, unlike Russian strikes on cities, cause almost no civilian casualties.
On the Russian internet, these strikes are causing an increasingly sharp reaction. The negativity, which previously concerned Gerasimov, Shoigu, and Peskov, has now spread to Putin himself.
Moscow can no longer sell the public the idea that "the war is going according to plan." The shortage of missiles for Pantsir air defense systems has also become evident.
The boiling point of Russian society has not been reached; this would require more significant defeats at the front or a mass mobilization. However, the "hurrah-patriotic" sentiments are also no longer observed.
Kyiv continues to methodically strike at Russia's fuel infrastructure. The war has ceased to be popular among Russians; they have begun to understand its costs. Ukraine expects that such patient tactics will eventually create the preconditions for its cessation.

Но это же не так. Вы считаете, что резервуары строили только для того, чтобы они были, потому что это красиво? Или они как-то сглаживают неравномерность поставок нефти или отгрузок нефтепродуктов? А если сглаживают, где хранить избытки при отсутствии резервуаров?
В военном плане это не поможет, если они думают что население в рф что-то решает, то уровень квалификации печальный.
