Pollution is indicated by the results of observations at automatic continuous measurement stations for priority pollutants in the atmospheric air, located in the capital.
Today, an increase in the presence of nitrogen oxide in the air was noted. Exceedances of the established hygienic standards for maximum permissible concentrations are recorded at five points in the city: a point on Karžanieŭski Street has been added to yesterday's locations (Niezaliežnasci Avenue, 110a, Cimiražieva Street, 23, Radyjaĺnaja Street, 50, and the Uručča microdistrict). As of 12:00, the maximum concentration of nitrogen oxide reached 2.4 MPC.
In addition, on January 20, an exceedance of the daily average MPC by 1.2 times was recorded for solid particles, fractions up to 2.5 µm (fine dust).
