Nine-year-old Chinese boy breaks Rubik's Cube world record. This is not his first time
Nine-year-old Chinese boy Xuanyi Geng has once again become a world record holder in speedcubing the Rubik's Cube. He solved the 3×3×3 cube in 2.51 seconds, breaking the previous world record.

Xuanyi Geng had already held the title of record holder: he first set a record at the age of seven. In 2025, at the WCA Spring Rubik's Cube Competition in Shenyang, he solved the cube in 3.057 seconds.
Later, this result was surpassed by another nine-year-old participant, Teodor Zaidler from Poland, who was the first to solve the cube in less than three seconds: in 2.76 seconds. Now Geng has improved this result by another quarter of a second.
