Robert Brovdi: 205 Russian Vessels Struck in Black and Azov Seas in a Month

Commander of Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces, Robert "Madyar" Brovdi, stated that since early July, Ukrainian drones have hit 205 Russian transport vessels used for supplying Crimea. According to him, four Russian tankers were damaged or destroyed during the latest attack.

The Ukrainian side claims that the attacks are part of an operation to isolate Crimea, codenamed "MaLoChKa" - "Moscow will fall through Crimea". It began on July 6, 2026.

According to the Unmanned Systems Forces, since the start of the operation, Ukrainians have hit 205 vessels: 130 in the Azov Sea and another 75 in the Black Sea. In addition to tankers, Ukrainian drones previously attacked ferries connecting Russia with Crimea, dry cargo ships, gas carriers, tugboats, and port infrastructure.

Robert Brovdi claims that the main goal of the campaign is the destruction of Russia's 'shadow fleet' in the region and the creation of problems with fuel and cargo supplies to Crimea. The Ukrainian side calls this campaign one of the largest naval military operations in recent decades.

After strikes on Russian ports in the Azov Sea, large oil product spills were recorded. In particular, satellite images from July 26 showed pollution near the Akhtarsky Limans. Ukrainian authorities claim that Russia uses this area for temporary deployment of vessels, including those that may be linked to circumventing international sanctions.

The Unmanned Systems Forces of the AFU also reported a series of strikes on Russian military targets. In Crimea, according to the Ukrainian side, a base for naval drones in the village of Snezhnoe and radio-transparent shelters for radar stations in the village of Okhotnichye were attacked.

In the occupied part of Zaporizhzhia Oblast, a P-18 radar station was reportedly hit. In Donetsk Oblast, Ukrainian drones attacked a "Buk-M3" surface-to-air missile system that was being transported on a platform.

Additionally, at the "Donetsk" airfield, a launch site for Russian military attack drones was struck. In Rostov Oblast, Ukraine reported attacks on the "Nebo-SVU" radar station and the "Sopka-2" radar complex.
