Two injured in scaffolding collapse in Minsk remain in hospitals
Two people injured in the collapse of construction scaffolding on Kiseleva Street in Minsk continue to remain in hospitals. This was reported by the health committee of the Minsk City Executive Committee, writes BelTA.
One of the injured was hospitalized in the Emergency Medical Hospital, the second — in the 5th City Clinical Hospital. Both were diagnosed with combined injuries of varying severity. Doctors are conducting the necessary treatment and diagnostic examinations.
Initially, after the incident, six people were delivered to medical facilities. They were found to have traumatic brain injuries, ligament damage to joints, bruises, and lacerations. After examination and consultations, four of the injured were discharged for outpatient treatment at their place of residence.
Earlier, it was reported that construction scaffolding collapsed at a construction site near a nine-story building currently under construction. As a result of the tragedy, one person died, and six others were injured.
A criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident.
