Items by a famous Belarusian designer burned down in Wildberries warehouses
Designer Liudmila Labkova said that more than five thousand items of her brand burned down in Wildberries warehouses.
"The force majeure in Wildberries warehouses also affected us — several batches, into which we poured our heart and soul, disappeared in a matter of hours. We cannot retrieve items from the warehouses — you see that today (the appeal was recorded on July 22. — NN) two more were blown up. And we understand that we will lose everything. While something is still left in the warehouses, I ask you, buy what you like," the designer urges her fans.
For those who don't need the clothes, Liudmila asks them to still place an order and then return it as defective.
"Then the item will return to our pickup points and be saved for better times."
Liudmila Labkova has been in fashion for almost 25 years, specializing in women's clothing made from natural materials, including plus-size. In 2018, she also designed the ceremonial uniform for the Belarusian delegation to the Winter Olympic Games in South Korea. Currently, 181 items of her authorship in various sizes are available on the Wildberries website.
The company Made4U, which produces tear-off calendars and gifts, also shared that their goods are burning in the warehouses.
Belarusian companies facing a similar problem are, where possible, switching to shipping exclusively from Belarusian warehouses and selling on domestic platforms.
"This will take longer, but it's safer," they warn customers in advance.
The Modum firm, which stored a third of its cosmetics in Wildberries warehouses in Elektrostal and Kotovsk, was also affected. The AFU attacks also impacted dozens of other businesses.
Meanwhile, 11 days before the attack, the marketplace disclaimed responsibility for potential losses from drone strikes. However, it is still unclear whether this will also affect sellers from Belarus.
