"Are they waiting for a tragedy?" Drivers raise alarm over the state of the bridge over Słuch between Mikashevichy and Zhitkovichi
Drivers express concern about the state of the temporary bridge over the Słuch river on the M-10 highway between Mikashevichy and Zhitkovichi. According to them, the crossing is heavily damaged: part of the metal plates are detached, so cars are forced to move very slowly to avoid damaging their vehicles. Because of this, large traffic jams regularly form on the road, writes BG.Media.

One of the authors of a video published on social networks claims that the bridge was closed for repairs, but after its reopening, the situation practically did not change. According to him, the damage remained, and in some places, the condition of the crossing even worsened.
In the comments, many drivers report having to stand in traffic jams for several tens of minutes to several hours. They also note that driving over the bridge causes fear, and some cars have already sustained wheel damage.
"The queue is about two kilometers long. We started at 19:30, and only passed at 22:15. Almost three hours in a traffic jam."
"It's scary to drive there. And the bridge will probably be under repair for another five years."
"They are probably waiting for a tragedy. Then they will stir," people write.
Local information resources also drew attention to the problem, publishing photos of the crossing.

Residents express the opinion that the temporary bridge requires more serious repairs, as its condition could become dangerous for road users.
This is not about the main bridge over the Słuch, but about a temporary crossing organized for the duration of its reconstruction. Restrictions on movement over the main bridge were introduced back in May 2024 due to its dilapidated condition. Initially, traffic was diverted, and later a bypass bridge was opened.
According to carriers, the reconstruction of the main bridge has been delayed, and for a long time, work progressed very slowly. This has led to additional costs for transport companies, as well as increased strain on local roads and settlements.
According to the latest information, the opening of the reconstructed main bridge is planned for November 2026. Until then, traffic continues to use the temporary crossing, whose condition is causing increasing concern among drivers.
