"Either we rape you, or you shave your beard along with your head." Lakhvich told what happened to him
Belarusian volunteer Aliaksandr "Lakhvich" Naŭkovič for the first time told his detailed version of how he was forced to shave his head and beard. According to him, a girl he met online played a significant role in this story.

Aliaksandr "Lakhvich" Naŭkovič is a former warrior of the "Litvin" Battalion of the Kalinoŭski Regiment.
He regularly appeared in public as a blogger and participant in political discussions. In his interviews and videos, Lakhvich often spoke about Belarusian history, the Grand Duchy of Lithuania (GDL), national dignity, and the noble code of conduct.
In 2024, Naŭkovič was elected to the Coordination Council. He belonged to the wing of volunteers who regularly criticized Belarusian democratic forces for the lack of a clear power strategy and for being disconnected from armed people.
It was around Naŭkovič that one of the most resonant conflicts erupted in the Belarusian volunteer environment. On June 1, 2026, he published a video where, without his famous mustache, he called himself a "swineherd," saying that a mustache is "a mark of nobility," and that he supposedly did not deserve the right to wear one due to his actions.
There followed a series of insulting phrases about himself, as well as about another Belarusian volunteer — Aliaksandr "Gerard" Krasoŭski, who is held in a pre-trial detention center in Ukraine.

Later, Naŭkovič admitted that the video appeared after a conflict with Radzivon "Hena" Batulin. At the time, he claimed that after the meeting, they "shook hands and parted ways."
On July 16, Lakhvich published an almost 50-minute video titled "When Your Own Are Worse Than the Occupiers." In it, he for the first time detailed his version of what happened.
According to Lakhvich, about a month and a half before the incident, he met a Belarusian-speaking girl online.
"Belarusian-speaking, ideological, as I understood it. Basically, that's what won me over."
Lakhvich says they regularly corresponded and developed a good relationship.
A few days before the incident, the girl informed him that she would be visiting Izium. According to Lakhvich, he was also in the Kharkiv region at the time, so he agreed to meet a few days later, on May 31, as he needed to get permission from his commander.
As Lakhvich notes, the meeting took place just a few days after his online conflict with Radzivon "Hena" Batulin. He does not deny that he spoke sharply about Batulin, but claims that this does not justify what happened afterward.
According to Lakhvich, the day before the meeting, the girl sent him an address. While he was looking for the right house, she came out herself to meet him.
"Very well-mannered. We greeted each other with a Roman salute. Belarusian-speaking, ideological. I thought: well, damn, great."
After that, according to him, the girl immediately suggested going into the house.
"I said: 'Maybe we should go for a walk?' She replied: 'No, no time. Go shower quickly. I like clean men.'"
Lakhvich admits that he readily agreed to the proposal:
"Damn... I understand I have a problem with girls. I'll tell you how it is: I don't have sex. No sex for years. That's how it turned out, so I fell for it easily."
According to the man, after he went into the shower, he didn't see the girl again.
"I was naked. Two guys came in to film me on a phone. Three people were standing in the apartment."
According to him, Radzivon "Hena" Batulin and Dzianis "Vaŭkalak" Urbanovič entered the shower.
"Vaŭkalak was filming me on a phone. Why they need these videos — I don't know. Ask them. Especially their audience."
Further, according to Lakhvich, he was given an ultimatum:
"Dude, either we rape you, humiliate you, or you shave your beard along with your head."
He claims there was effectively no choice.
"The choice is small. I'm not an idiot."
After that, according to him, a video was recorded which later spread on social media.
"And that's why that humiliating video appeared. I don't consider it penitential. It was recorded under duress," Lakhvich states.
