Death toll from earthquake in Venezuela exceeds five thousand people
The death toll from the two earthquakes that occurred in Venezuela on the evening of June 24 amounted to 5069 people. This was announced on Friday, July 17, by the chairman of the National Assembly of the country, Jorge Rodríguez, on his Telegram channel.

Additionally, at this moment, 16,740 injured people and 17,907 people left without housing are known.
During search and rescue operations, 6462 people were found, and medical assistance was provided to almost 37 thousand victims.
As a result of the earthquakes, 190 buildings were completely destroyed, and another 856 objects sustained serious damage.
